In September 2018 Father’s House committed to pray, day and night for 30 days (see story below).
As the month drew to a close, there was an overwhelming desire from those involved to continue. There were many testimonies that as people prayed they felt the Lord restoring their first love and of how He had been speaking to them and bringing them into a closer walk with himself.
To facilitate the momentum we would like to introduce:

30 days of prayer history
Whilst in the sanctuary a thought came to Simon. What if we as a church prayed for the whole of September? Prayed for revival, for God to break out among us, for His kingdom to be manifest among us (healing , deliverance, salvation, freedom, fulfilled promises). Maybe the Lord will come?
As he thought about it he was reminded of a story in 2Kings 7.
“Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.””
2 Kings 7:3-4 NIV
The story continues and they go to the enemy camp and find that it is empty, the siege and the famine are brought to and end. If the men with leprosy hadn’t stepped out then they may never have found out.
They had nothing to lose in leaving where they were and stepping out!
The second story that came to mind was of Jonathan.
“Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.””
1 Samuel 14:6 NIV
Maybe the lord will act on our behalf.
September…prayer…why not? What have you we got to lose? Maybe the Lord will act on our behalf? And if nothing happens we will have prayed a bit more than we would normally have and that can’t be a bad thing.
So, people signed up for an hour or more of prayer throughout September. Some prayed in the sanctuary and some at home, we were overwhelmed with how many signed up and the resulting increased sense of His presence. We
What are we praying for?
For God to break out among us. We have seen God move in the past and we have had prophetic words that the lightning will strike again, let’s pray for a sovereign move from heaven.
Revival. This nation is ripe for revival, let’s pray God will make us ready and again pray that He will break out among us.
