Vision

Vision articulates what God has put on our hearts to pioneer and bring to life, it brings protection, safety and a sense of belonging to all involved.
Where there is no vision the people perish. Proverbs 29:18

We want to see a generation who are jealous night and day for the presence of God. A prophetic community whose eyes are fixed on Jesus until His return, who know that they have purpose, eternal hope and were born for such a time as this, by carrying the sound of heaven and the message of the kingdom to the nations of the earth.

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
(Psalm 27:4)

The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.
(Leviticus 6:13)

I will restore David’s fallen shelter, I will repair its broken walls, and restore its ruins—and will rebuild it as it used to be.
(Amos 9:11)

In 2010, we heard the Lord say, set aside a place for day and night worship, prayer and prophecy in the United Kingdom, and call it the Sanctuary, and so it began…

Where

We are based in Shaftesbury, Dorset, England.
From AD 888 Shaftesbury Abbey hosted 651 years of worship and prayer until it was forced to close by Henry VIII, it was known as a thin place where people came on pilgrimage in expectation of the miraculous. Our desire is to continue to forge the paths that others obediently started and blaze new trails. We want to make a way where there was no way, calling that which has been shut down into life and to contend for the Kingdom of God to be manifest on earth.

They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
Isaiah 61:4

How

We believe we have seen and heard a whisper of what is to come and whilst there are no well-worn paths, we follow the lead of the Holy Spirit and trust Him to guide us with every step that we take.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16
